Ali is our friendly first port-of-call for customers who’d like support with Prism nursery management software.
He is a Computer Science Graduate with a passion for problem solving. In his spare time, you’re likely to find Ali at the gym, travelling or learning about the latest technology and gadgets.

James Henderson
Senior Developer and team leader
James leads the team of developers who work diligently on making Prism the best nursery management solution around.
With a decade of experience in software development, an MA in Artificial Life and a passion for developing efficient systems, he’s well placed to to make sure Prism delivers the service customers expect.
“Because we test everything extensively in a live nursery environment, we know Prism is as robust and as effective as it was designed to be.”
Nick Benson
Software Engineer and insight provider
Nick helps to develop both the desktop and web versions of Prism, often turning data into vibrant dashboard displays and useful reports.
He has a Master’s in Computer Science and ten years’ experience in software development.

Software Developer and problem solver
Stuart writes software for the desktop version of Prism. This involves understanding the issues that nursery managers come up against, then translating these into useful solutions.
He has BSc in Computer Science and a passion for developing software that genuinely helps people to solve problems.

Sinéad Scantlebury
Administrator
Sinéad makes sure that the Astec Solutions office and business runs smoothly, including organising consultations and demonstrations and providing customer support.
Sinéad previously worked as a nursery practitioner at Rainbow Smiles nursery, so has a good understanding of the issues early years professionals face.
